Thanks to Jelly Roll landing in country music and Post Malone entering the genre, the two joined forces for the Big A** Stadium Tour. Featuring a slew of big names, the tour became a must-see event for lovers of country music. And with both stars having millions of fans around the country and world, the tour traveled all over the United States and even places like Germany, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, and Romania. But among the sea of fans rushing to see Malone, it appeared that one of his biggest fans was Jelly Roll’s mom.

In a new video posted on Instagram, Jelly Roll’s mother, Donna DeFord, asked if Malone would sign her CD. Yes, she still rocked the CD. And showing how prepared she was, she admitted, “I got one, and I got my own felt pen.” Coming fully prepared to meet Malone, Donna still didn’t know if she would get the chance. But for Jelly Roll, he laughed at the idea she thought she wasn’t going to meet the star.
Given their growing friendship, the singer stood alongside his mother as Malone quickly embraced Donna in a massive hug. Not letting go for a few seconds, the singer completely focused on her. Donna even explained to Malone how she asked her son numerous times to meet him.
Post Malone Makes Sure Jelly Roll Bought His Mom A House
Grateful for the love Donna showed him, Malone added that Jelly Roll also asked him countless times if he would meet her mother. Donna revealed that the CD was a birthday present to her. Wasting no time singing the CD, Malone had a question for her. With Jelly Roll quickly becoming a top name in the genre, Malone wanted to know if she was being taken care of. “Did Jason buy you a house yet?”
Knowing how much family meant to Jelly Roll, he already knew the answer. But still, Donna revealed, “Yes, a nice one.”
Fans loved the interaction between Jelly Roll, Malone, and Donna, writing, “This is the sweetest most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen. She is just like us. Now we need an album with this as the cover.” Another comment included, “That’s too adorable. I love Jelly’s mom. While Donna continued to support Jelly Roll throughout his career, it seemed she might be a bigger fan of Malone as her birthday gift was his signature.
