Furthermore, $250,000 went to 31 shelters in numerous states affected by Hurricane Milton and Helene.
Currently, the relief funds are aimed at helping the state of California amidst its treacherous battles with the ongoing wildfires. The funds will provide shelters with supplies, food, veterinary care, transportation for misplaced pets, and support for repair.
“Our Relief For Rescues Fund allows MuttNation to help shelters when they need us the most,” says Lambert. “It’s been heartbreaking to see the devastation in California unfold, and we’re grateful that our Fund and the generosity of our donors has allowed us to respond quickly” and “100% of your support goes directly to those impacted by disasters.”
Since its founding in 2009, Lambert and MuttNation have provided hoards of support for animals and shelters across the country. Currently, the organization has raised over $9 million dollars for the general American pet community.
