For the third year running, American Songwriter partnered with Artist For Artist for its annual VIP Promotion, sending one lucky winner from our contests to Austin, TX to get the full VIP treatment across SXSW Music Week.
Ainae was selected from American Songwriter’s contests for her song, “Weekend Lover.” Part of her prize was the opportunity to perform at Artist For Artist events including The Fiji House at The Belmont.
American Songwriter caught up Ainae after her big week to get her take on the overall experience, “I am so incredibly grateful to the American Songwriter and Artist for Artist for selecting me to go to SXSW! I’m still pinching myself. I performed at two showcases, met incredible people, and felt this overwhelming sense that this was the beginning of something really great in my career.”
